Head - PMO - Banking

Program Management Office is responsible to identify and drive initiatives across the Bank that helps in achieving the stated strategic objectives and drives the Program management discipline as a Centre of Excellence through deployment of standard methodologies, tools and training, provide guidance and coaching to new project managers. The team works across the bank and interacts with Business and Functional Heads and their leadership teams within Wholesale banking, Retail banking, Digital Banking and Functions like Operations, Services, Technology and HR.

The individual will be responsible to Head the PMO Unit and manage the following:

- Initiating & Ensuring delivery of the Bank's Strategic projects which create value for the Bank

- Ensuring that these projects are managed efficiently in terms of scope and timely deliver envisaged value to the Bank and where necessary effects the required interventions to achieve the above

- Building project management capabilities within the Bank through deployment of standard methodologies, tools and trainings and creating a Centre of Excellence

- Providing support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects to Senior Management

- Acting as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in project management
