About the job:

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of PMO to establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) function within Lumiq.

This role will be pivotal in setting up structured project management practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving efficiency across all project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish PMO Function: Set up and implement the PMO framework, methodologies, and best practices to standardize project management processes across the organization.

- Leadership: Lead and mentor the PMO team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Project Coordination: Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

- Strategic Planning: Break projects into actionable tasks, define scope and objectives, and set realistic timeframes.

- Resource Management: Assign tasks to internal teams, assist with schedule management, and ensure proper resource allocation.

- Budget Preparation: Help prepare and manage project budgets, analysing risks and opportunities associated with each project.

- Procurement Management: Oversee project procurement management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

- Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, handle any issues that arise, and communicate project status to all stakeholders.

- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to eliminate blockers and facilitate project success.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and quality assurance tests, ensuring that standards and requirements are met.

Qualifications:

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field;

- Proven experience (7+ years) in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a tech organization.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e. , Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e. , MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Redmine).
