Head - Plant Maintenance - Chemical

The role will be responsible to oversee the overall maintenance activities viz. utilities, electrical and mechanical for the plant.

- Manages the staff, processes and activities for maintaining all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operation.

- Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.

- Oversees maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling, work performance and performance management to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff performance management.

- Monitors and continually improves maintenance processes and maintenance personnel performance to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency

- Maintains the annual consumption of spare parts as per the target.

- Maintain the breakdowns of critical machines below target level.

- Renew all AMC for Equipment in Utilities.

For the said role we need :

- B.E /B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical Engg

- 12 + years of relevant experience in maintenance from the chemical industry

- Knowledge and experience in analyzing break downs and preparing MIS.

- Adequate experience in energy management and control of energy costs.

- Administrative skills in handling the department.
