Ensuring Uptime better or equal to planned level using systematic approach Preventive Maintenance, Daily Maintenance involving Operators, Analytical approach .
Documentation :
Preparation of Preventive Maintenance ( PM ) Checklist for Maintenance Engineers and Technicians, PM Procedures, Maintenance effectiveness checklists, Daily Clean-Lubricate- Retighten-Inspect ( CLRI ) checklists for Operators Upgrade documentation to reflect inputs from Breakdown Why-Why analysis, PM feedback, Kaizens.
Energy Audit :
Identification of energy reduction opportunities, preparation & execution of plan to continually reduce energy consumption.
Equipment Commissioning :
On-time Commissioning of Production, Utilities, Material Handling Equipment ( inclusive of Relocation of Equipment from & to other sites ).
Budget :
Maintenance Expenses Budgeting for routine activities, Equipment Reconditioning and Up-gradation projects, Low Cost Automation Integration This will form part of Plant Managers annual budget for the plant.
Repairs & Maintenance Cost Improvement :
Repairs & Maintenance Cost Control & progressive reduction thru planned maintenance activities, kaizens, delivering results equal or better than plan.
Commercial:
Negotiating with Service providers, Spares & OE suppliers, Consumable Suppliers. This will be support activity to the Purchase function.
Maintenance Stores :
Spares Planning, Exposure to Maintenance Stores activities, practices & checks & balances ( from security point of view ) .
