Job Description

JOB TITLE : Plant Head HR

DEPARTMENT + BUSINESS FUNCTION + SECTION : HR

REPORTS TO : Plant Head + MD

REPORTEES : 8-9 Direct

LOCATION : Sitarganj, Uttrakahand

JOB PURPOSE :

- This position will drive the development and day-to-day execution of the Human Resource team while setting enterprise-wide HR strategies for the Company.


- As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Head will lead the Human Resource initiative to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and organizational growth.


- This individual contributes as a strategic partner in the accomplishment of departmental plans through initiatives that attract and retain talent, develop employees and leaders and align organizational goals and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : List the Responsibilities/duties associated with the job. For each responsibilities/duties listed, give the factors on which an individual's performance is judged.

Accountabilities KPIs :

- Develops, updates and manages policies and procedures. Develops organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues; contributes information, analysis, and recommendations to the organization's strategic direction 100% compliance

- Works closely with executive leaders and management to advise, counsel, provide coaching and resolution to address employees' performance. Provides performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) Quarterly review

- Owning manpower planning, and recruiting the best talent. Periodically review organization structure and relationships Ensure 95% manpower availability at all times

- Ensures the maintenance records of transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, attendance records, discipline records, employee performance appraisal records and schedules Period review of all HR policies and SOPs

- Implemented PMS in the plant. Monitor Quarterly KPI reporting as determined by the Management Quarterly review

- Employee Engagement and Welfare activities. Lead internal communications on Human Resource matters. Manage the process of all employee disciplinary actions. Provide coaching and counsel as needed to Hiring Managers Monthly

- Training calendar for plant - circulation and adherence. Directs the training, planning, and skill building of the HR staff to prepare them for future growth for the company and individual career paths. Promotes ethical and cultural awareness to the workforce through training, development, and consultation. Weekly monitoring

- Directs the functional areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to retention, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, workers compensation, safety, training and special projects Period review of all HR policies and SOPs

- Responsible for maintaining a highly engaging culture, motivating employees, and fostering an environment with high levels of teamwork, accountability, communication, and vision for employees Zero gaps

- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; monitor the adherence of statutory compliances, company policies and procedures Monthly

- Govt. Officials and local authorities - All Plant HODs & HR team

- HRMS agency, GPTW Team, Thomas Team - Admin / transport team

- Vendors/Contractors - VP/President/MD

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (State the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) :

Educational Qualifications and Skills Required :

- MBA-HR/IR, MSW with competencies in the creation of business plans, budgets and monitoring performance with metrics.


- The ideal candidate will have experience in leading all aspects of human resources including employee relations, benefits, policies and procedures, and maintaining and promoting corporate culture.


- Good command of Hindi & English.

-Must have a large manufacturing unit with more than 15+ years of experience in hard core Strategic Business HR function, supporting in developing high performance culture.
