JOB PURPOSE
This role covers the full range of HR activities including performance management,reward and recognition management, talent pipeline management, employee relations etc. Being a management team member, position would also be responsible for taking a leading role in defining the cultural direction and leadership development required to drive operational, commercial and growth objectives.
ACCOUNT ABILITIES :
- Support the site management team in the development & delivery of the longer term HR strategy .
- Lead and manage Performance management and rem review process.
- Draw up and implement action plan to improve employee morale & motivation through employee surveys, one to one discussions, employee engagement activities etc.
- Lead Learning & Development initiatives for the business.
- Lead Talent Management process, Identify key talent and work around their development, mentoring, coaching. Manage succession planning process for the site.
- Actively participate in country wide HR initiatives.
- Develop and deliver longer term employee relations (IR) strategy for the business. Develop and implement site communication process that supports the ER strategy.
- Participate in union negotiations & Long term settlement process.
- Maintain overall statutory compliance related to labour/employment laws and factory operations and ensure no non-compliance.
- Co-ordinate with Lawyers and external parties for HR related court matters and legal cases.
- Take responsibility of liasoning with Government authorities.
- Management of Contractors, Contract labours and related legal compliance.
PERSON SPECIFICATION :
- Post Graduate Diploma / MBA in HR, IR or personnel Management from reputed institute. (Regular).
- Several years of relevant experience with Manufacturing set up in HR Management including Industrial relations.
- Strong communication and inter personnel skills necessary. Able to command respect internally and externally.
- Ability to be self-motivated.
- Possess strong technical expertise and in depth and wide reaching knowledge of HR Processes, Labour Laws, Statutory Compliance etc.
- Ability to develop and maintain broad contact base on all aspects of HR & IR.
