Experience - 20 - 30Years

Qualification - B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Preferred

Diploma is less preferred

Industry - Cable/Wire Manufacturing

Location - Gujarat.

Person will be responsible for Overall Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of Cable division

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

- Overall responsible for Breakdown, Preventive, & Corrective maintenance of Cable plant machinery

- Heading the maintenance processes to optimize production activities (equipment availability & energy efficiency) and implementing effective preventive & predictive maintenance system.

- Planning & implementing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.

- Tracking daily breakdowns, implementing preventive maintenance programmes to improve the efficiency of the system or the equipment undergoing maintenance.

- Directing & instructing maintenance technicians; monitoring expenses with optimum utilization of resources.

- Handle various Erection and Commissioning of Machines

- Preparing costs reports on spare parts, inventory, labour and machines for resources planning, budgeting, scheduling and executing preventive maintenance activities.

- Deploying various methodologies to minimize escalations, enhance productivity, reduce man days, low production cost, raw materials & energy consumption, realize operational efficiencies, control variability & cost.

- Skilled in promoting & implementing TPM, CFT, Quality Circle, TPS, 5S, 3M, 3G, Kaizen activities, erection/ commissioning.

- Implementation knowledge of safety principles & methodologies for organizational safety culture transformation

- Conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance to ISO 9000: 2000 & ISO 14000 standards

- Supervising the preparation of MIS and various other reports to apprise top management of the routine engineering operations and assist in critical decision-making.

- Manage maintenance expenses budgeting for routine activities, equipment reconditioning/ upgradation projects, low cost automation integration.
