Looking for a candidate from Cosmetics, E-Commerce industry only.

Location : Mumbai

Experience: 8-10 years of experience in Personal care manufacturing, Demand/ Supply planning, MRP (Material Requirement planning), Sourcing etc.

Education Qualification: Engineer + MBA (Optional)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the sourcing team in releasing Purchase Orders (PO) based on demand from online and off-platform sales.

2. Create a weekly supply schedule by aligning demand plans with open POs, supplier manufacturing capacity, and the availability of raw materials and packaging materials (RM-PM) at the supplier's end.

3. Resolve sourcing challenges related to RM-PM availability, both local and imported, and address supplier capacity issues.

4. Ensure the cost of delivery to warehouses across India is optimized, while adhering to contracted pricing agreements.

5. Optimize overall inventory levels (Days on Hand) for private brands in line with projected demand.

6. Forecast supplier capacity and capability requirements on a quarterly basis, and work closely with suppliers to address any potential bottlenecks.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI):

1. Availability: No. of SKU/ SWIS (Sales Weighted in stock) at national level at right inventory depth of 30/ 60 days as per SKU type

2. DOH (Overall Days of Hand) of inventory

3. Track & Optimize Lead time for delivery against confirmed order to supplier

4. Agility to quickly scale supply up or down in response to demand fluctuations.
