The FMCG Head will have the undermentioned roles and responsibilities -
1. Who can Work with the on-ground team and who have leadership quality to design the marketing strategies around the brand Sansar.
2. Who Work on the brand P&L account with the brand manager to control the cash flows
3. Take initiatives to drive growth and improve visibility of the brand
4. Prepare monthly budgets for marketing and design schemes for trade
5. Work on designing the go-to-market strategy for expansion markets
6. Prepare weekly MIS report to be presented to leadership
7. Keep track of the market pulses in terms of market share, pricings and offers
8. Work with sales team and take initiatives to push numbers
9. Work on new project/product development while putting together marketing research, cost structures and GTM strategy
10. Work on digital campaigns
11. Work with modern trade category teams on planning in store activation
Desired Experience:
- Overall, over 8-12 years of post-qualification balanced experience in various aspects of an organization preferably from Consumer Products and or Consumer Directed Services.
- Experience of working in diverse markets and successful track record of achieving sales, brand building, network development & profit targets
- Experience in effectively representing organisational needs with an understanding of the broader economic demands.
- Experience of continuous improvement of market shares and revenue management goals.
- Seasoned and successful leader, preferably with experience in a major & complex industry or organization in a competitive market segment.
- Experience operating effectively in a complex decision-making setting.
- Working experience with diverse groups and commitment to advancing workplace diversity.
- Experience working in a complex environment where there may be conflicting objectives, ability to navigate and pull all into a broader system view, and ability to effectively engage constituents to achieve a balance in competing agendas.
An ideal candidate would have :
1. year on work experience in FMCG/CD environment
2. Been in sales for at least 1 year in product-based setup (mandatory)
3. Prior experience in brand marketing, working with agency, ATL/BTL
4. Dynamic and have a problem-solving approach
5. Preferably from a Tier 1/2 B-school
