Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Providing direction to achieve the desired long-term and short-term objectives
- Streamline production scheduling, improve demand forecasting, and enhance collaboration with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and complete deliveries to customers.
- Enhance communication between production, logistics, and PPIC teams, optimize dispatch planning processes, and implement real-time tracking systems.
- Operations - Executing the strategies to achieve the business goals
- Reduce the lead time from receiving a Sales Order (SO) to issuing a Purchase Order (PO) for required materials.
- Streamline the procurement process, optimize supplier relationships, and utilize technology for faster purchase order generation
- Minimize the inventory of Finished Goods (FG) that has been in stock for more than 30 days.
- Implement demand-driven inventory strategies, identify slow-moving items, and develop strategies for liquidating or repurposing aged stock.
Role Requirements:
Qualifications - BBA/BA in SCM or related fields
- MBA/MS in SCM or equivalent
- Extensive experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management in leadership positions
- Certifications as CPIM, CSCP etc.
Skills and Competencies - Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and inventory management techniques
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in managing and driving change
