Head - Options Trading Desk - Proprietary Desk

Job Description:

The candidate would be responsible for leading the Options Trading desk, which would involve the following activities:

1. Building and managing a team of traders with diversified trading strategies and styles, comprising both directional and non-directional trades; across index as well as stock options, and mix of positional and intraday strategies.

2. Developing and executing trading strategies that align with the firm's risk-adjusted returns profile, with a goal to generate consistent returns, while being market-neutral.

3. Managing Risk for the desk and adjusting positions to stay within mutually agreed metrics- overnight VaR, intraday MTM limits.

4. Implementing technology tools to execute trades efficiently, with minimized slippage and market impact cost. Building tools and screeners, to improve trading effectiveness.

5. Collaborating with other traders, analysts, and risk managers to keep abreast with the changing trading landscape. Being updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements in the derivatives market.
