Job Summary:
As the Operations Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with the company's strategic objectives.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement lean methodologies and best practices.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
Quality Management:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Implement quality control measures to continuously improve product/service delivery.
Resource Management:
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the interests of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior operations management role, preferably in Retail industry.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
