Head - Operations - NBFC

JOB PURPOSE:

- Spearhead the design, implementation and integration of operations processes for SME lending vertical of the company

- Responsible for managing the technology required by the company to operate smoothly and offer the required level of service to customers and run efficient central operations

- Manage the operational cost & risk metrics of the SME lending business

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operations

- Work closely with product and IT to develop LOS/LMS and ancillary systems to handle products of SME lending vertical

- Evaluate and give specifications to IT for developing new satellite systems and integrating with LOS/LMS/Website/Mobile App for digital omni-channel experience

- Assess, envisage, and communicate functional requirements to various software vendors (LOS, LMS, Document scanning system etc.) to create a single seamless digital platform for the end user

- Design a new workflow management system for business loans to be used by process stakeholders i.e. call centre, credit, sales & ops.

- Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with external operations suppliers

- Ensure that operations of the vertical are available when required by the business and comply with all business and regulatory requirements

- Formulate and implement standard operating procedures (SOP's) for branch operations and CPU operations and present them to the top management for sign-off by all the stakeholders

- Closely liaise with product, business, risk, credit, legal, and IT teams for formulation and development of loan products and underlying systems and processes.

- Closely work with sales and collections teams, to ensure achievement of overall business objective of running a low delinquency and growing portfolio with a strong focus on transcation quality and turnaround time.

- Recruit and manage a team to build a strong DSA/DST network for the SME lending vertical

Educational Qualifications

MBA finance or CA

Minimum 15 years in finance industry with at least 8-10 years in managing operations team of a top tier bank/NBFC/fintech in India
