Operations Head Manufacturing Plant

Looking for a leadership candidate for a Global Textile firm to establish their operations/plant in India, possessing substantial experience in operations and business/Process excellence.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Supervise Technical and Production teams to execute orders and meet performance metrics.

- Manage unit operations for resource availability, production efficiency, and cost competitiveness.

- Advise on organizational strategy and implement management strategies aligned with objectives.

- Conduct daily performance evaluations and collaborate with teams to achieve budget targets.

- Direct production, quality assurance/control, and timely shipment to meet organizational goals.

- Provide recommendations on group-wide projects and oversee process improvements.

- Coordinate with merchandising teams to evaluate style changes and technical requirements.

- Address customer complaints, conduct failure analysis, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

- Oversee factory evaluations to maintain technical capabilities.

- Maintain Overall Quality Level (OQL) at 1.0.

- Achieve efficiency targets for long and short runs.

- Ensure efficient startup within specified timelines.

- Ensure cost optimization and P&L management.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Proficiency in English.

- Self-motivated and results driven.

- Certification in Operations Management or relevant field.

- 15 to 20 years of Operations experience in India, preferably in Automobile manufacturing.

- Must be willing to travel.
