Head - Operations - Investment Banking

Job Requirements :

- 18+ years of Banking/Investment Banking experience of which last 5 years need to be at a senior management level

- Solid technical understanding of the banking business including strong knowledge of Derivatives operations. Exposure to other areas of front to back operations such as Trade capture and Daily Risk/ P&L would be added advantage.

- Proven Experience in delivering / supporting Six sigma or LEAN projects

- Strong operations background in standard banking products or in specialist products in Investment Banking

- Proven leadership in managing global cross location teams.

Functional :

- Coordinate the daily operational support.

- Monitor volume and FTE to ensure sufficient resource availability.

- Recruitment and training of resources to ensure seamless delivery.

- Effectively manage risk and foster an environment where team is cognizant of operational risk

- Conduct regular operational performance reviews

- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external escalations
