Job description

Role & responsibilities:

- Strategically drive conversion and operational efficiency across outpatient departments, inpatient areas, diagnostics (LAB), and pharmacy services.

- Monitor operational metrics as part of the service excellence framework, focusing on discharge processes and other operational parameters to enhance patient care outcomes.

- Oversee hospital compliances and ensure adherence to statutory requirements related to operations management.

- Manage daily operations and administrative functions to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services.

- Foster collaboration with non-medical functions (Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, IP and OP, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure the delivery of world-class healthcare services.

- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices in hospital administration, including corporate services, medical insurance, material management, pharmacy management, facility management, and estates management.

- Ensure effective implementation of organizational policies and processes to maintain operational efficiency.

- Facilitate communication and resolve operational issues among various hospital departments.

- Act as a representative of the operations team in handling patient escalations and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.

- Assess staff performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.

- Collaborate with departments to streamline operations and maintain smooth hospital functioning.

- Participate in cost containment initiatives alongside other department heads to optimize resource allocation.

- Actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing service excellence and improving overall patient experience.

- Participate in the design and implementation of operations dashboards to monitor performance and identify areas for operational improvement.

- Ensure adherence to service quality processes and occupational health and safety policies.

- Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new concepts and industry standards.

- Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex problems, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions to support operational efficiency.
