Overview:
- As the Operation Head for Food and Beverage (F&B), you will play a crucial role in leading and managing all aspects of the F&B operations within our organization.
- Your primary focus will be to oversee the efficient running of the F&B department, ensuring outstanding service delivery and financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing F&B team, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Drive the development and maintenance of high standards for customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee menu planning, pricing, and the development of new F&B offerings.
- Implement and maintain quality and safety standards in all F&B areas.
- Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor and analyze F&B performance through KPIs, sales, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of F&B operations.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in F&B operations.
- Handle any escalated guest concerns or operational issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth of the organization.
- Prepare and present regular reports on F&B performance and initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the F&B department, embodying its vision and values.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in F&B operations management, with a focus on leadership and team development.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully driving revenue and profitability in F&B operations.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Exceptional understanding of F&B service standards, menu development, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on fostering a positive work culture.
- Expertise in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations governing F&B operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on quality and service.
- Certification in Food and Beverage Management or related field is a plus.
- Proficient in using F&B management software and MS Office suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
