POSITION: HEAD - OPERATIONS

SALARY: 15 - 20 LPA

QUALIFICATION: Any Graduate / Post - Graduate (MBA -Operations)

EXPERIENCE: 10 + years

LOCATION: Mumbai

PREFERENCE:

- Needs to Travel to Warehouses based at Maharashtra , Goa and Gujarat

- FMCG background

DESCRIPTION:

Purpose:

The responsibilities of an operations head include managing the day to day operations of the company ensuring timely delivery of material to customers, development of operations team for a Rs200 cr operations, development of systems & processes to support rapid growth and ensuring operational efficiencies

Principal Accountabilities:

- To make "Operations & Client Servicing" a key differentiator.

- Responsible for the entire operations. Operations implies, Purchase, warehouse Management, Customer servicing.

- To ensure smooth operations, management and development of the team for all 14 distribution centres.

- Ensuring timely availability of material at various distribution centres, balancing the inventory levels between timely material availability and optimum inventory levels to minimize working capital requirements and storage spaces.

- Development of systems & processes for timely customer service, inventory management to minimize pilferage, stock damage and stock obsolescence.

- Coordination with multiple vendors by maintaining stocks at the vendor levels to reduce the stock and space requirements at our warehouse.

- Setting up operations & fulfilment centres across India in line with the company's strategy
