Head Of Operations
This role has significant global management responsibility leading a team size of 165+ employees and requires Operations leadership/expertise managing within a matrix-reporting environment. The incumbent should have dynamic partnership skills to manage complex relationships with the Business(s) they support. This position reports to the Managing Director and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to lead strategic and tactical change initiatives across all environments.
The key responsibility of this role is to oversee the Bangalore operation which includes:
- Daily monitoring of the inventory and aging of cases and ensure they do not age beyond the said targets.
- Monitoring of Inquiries so as to ensure there is minimal charge-off or Net Operating Losses (NOL).
- Routine communication with lines of business, other sites, and correspondent banks.
- Employee engagement so that change is implemented and driven on a real time basis in the team.
- Retention strategy to make sure tenured and skilled research resources are retained in the organization. This includes career and ongoing skill development of the employees.
- Follow the matrix organization structure and hierarchical reporting in the organization

Essential Skills & Experience:
- 13+ years of experience in a financial services operations environment.
- Prior experience in managing large teams, preferably with demonstrated global success.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and a very high degree of comfort with technology
- Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner. Strong command over English
- Good analytical and presentation skills.
- Visible energy / drive - dynamic leader.
- Good executive presence.
- Demonstrated experience in leading change in a customer-centric environment.
