Position : Head Operations

Location : Noida, India

Domain : e-Commerce ( Very well funded Start-up)

Job Responsibilities

To build and manage the operations function for a Hyper Local Marketplace (end to end)

- Build ops structure & partnerships

- Execute the operations strategy in a scalable manner

- Set the right systems and processes

- Deliver results to support end-to-end solution from order acquisition to delivery

- Ensure a great customer experience

Detailed Responsibilities

- Operations Strategy & Partnerships

Detail out a scalable strategy & roadmap for the operations function

Build and nurture strategic partnerships with external vendors and stakeholders for seamless fulfillment & delivery experience

- Operations Management

Define operations policies & procedures

Manage day to day operations

Own key operations & customer metrics

Work with business & technology teams to build a scalable operations function

Setup processes & systems for customer grievance handling and ensuring a great customer experience

- People leadership

Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across roles

Hire & build a team of specialist/experts to drive smooth operations

Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals with a customer centric mindset

Desired background

- MBA/PG /B-Tech from reputed institution

- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Operations Leadership role

- The experience of working with an online marketplace or ecommerce portal is mandatory

- Experience in driving operations through end to end planning, managing operations through metrics review and root cause analysis, and delivering results in a fast paced environment

- Prior experience in working with cloud-based ERP's, Shopify and Magento will be a plus

- Excellent communication, interpersonal & leadership skills

- Start-up experience would be an added plus
