Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive operations strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead and motivate a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Optimize team performance and development through effective coaching, mentorship, and performance management practices.
Process Optimization & Efficiency:
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
Leverage data and analytics to identify areas for optimization and make data-driven decisions.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain operational excellence across all functions.
Stakeholder Management & Supplier Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) including suppliers, vendors, and partners.
Manage and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Oversee vendor management and ensure the quality and timely delivery of services and materials.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing effective solutions.
Maintain clear and open communication with all levels of the organization, providing timely updates and fostering collaboration.
Possess excellent presentation and communication skills to articulate complex operational data and insights.
Technical Expertise & Innovation:
Apply your technical understanding to identify and implement best practices in operations management.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, exploring opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Be a champion of innovation, fostering a culture that embraces new ideas and continuous improvement within the operations function.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (highly preferred).
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role within operations management.
Proven track record of successfully leading and optimizing operational teams to achieve business goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
