Looking for Operations Head who is passionate about optimizing operations, building high-performance teams, and delivering exceptional service. This is a key role where the profile will influence both operational strategy and execution.
Position Summary
The Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing company-wide operations, ensuring optimal performance, and driving profitability. He will work closely with regional heads to maintain high standards of service delivery, achieve customer satisfaction, and uphold strong internal collaboration. The role requires a strategic, solution-oriented thinker who can adapt quickly and lead a diverse team to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations across multiple regions, leading regional heads and ensuring consistency in processes, quality, and output.
- Customer Satisfaction & SLAs: Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to meet customer expectations. Regularly review and optimize deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Team Performance & Motivation: Act as a mentor to regional heads, fostering an environment of collaboration, growth, and high performance. Motivate the team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with other departments (such as Quality, Engineering, HR) to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Governance & Reporting: Conduct regular reviews with customer representatives and senior company leadership to assess and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Employee Engagement: Recognize the value of employee satisfaction, building a workplace that motivates and retains top talent.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a reputed institution such as NIT, GEC, or a recognized private engineering college.
- Experience: 10-20 years in operations, manufacturing, quality control, or engineering, particularly within the automotive or engineering industry.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.
- People Management: Strong experience in managing and mentoring teams, with a proven track record of driving team performance and cohesion.
- Computer Proficiency: High level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Communication: Clear, concise, and diplomatic in approach, with strong interpersonal and networking abilities to build effective relationships.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi is essential; knowledge of additional Indian languages is a plus.
- Statutory Knowledge: Good understanding of statutory compliance, including the Factory/Shop Acts and applicable labor laws in India.
