Head - Operation & Maintenance - STP/WTP/TMT - Utilities

Head-STP,WTP, TMT (21-30 yrs)

JOB PURPOSE :

Lead the Operation and Maintenance of external utilities auxiliary systems and TMT to ensure reliable availability of MEP systems & critical equipment to meet operational requirements, ensure the life expectancy of the systems within the Approved budget and within designated norms of Quality, Safety, Environment Systems, and Regulatory Compliances.

ORGANISATION CHART:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Operations & Maintenance of External utilities Aux. Systems and TMT (WTP & STP, ASB & ACB,Landside Canteen and utility distribution piping network etc and TMT) with maximum availability

- Ensure preventive maintenance as per schedule.

- Periodically evaluate the performance of the Assets.

- Spare availability for maintenance work.

- Enhance reliability & reduce break down by predictive condition monitoring.

2. Operations Control Strategy and Implementation :

- Drive the Annual Operations & Maintenance Plan as per AOP,

- Ensure Adherence to established Standard Operating Procedure.

- Planning & coordination of shutdowns as per system requirement.

- Monitoring and Controlling of spare parts.

- Debottlenecking & Efficiency Improvement,

- Fault diagnosis / root cause analysis and its Corrective & Preventive Action,

- Budgeting for internal customer's needs.

3. Supplier / Vendor Management & Contract Management for External Utilities

- Timely Initialization of procurement / contracting processes

- Technical Evaluation of Suppliers / contractors

- Ensure adherence of technical requirements

4. Ensure achievement of target Service Level Agreement,

5. Execution management of various awarded contracts

6. Special Projects/Initiatives -

- Drive business excellence programs in the areas of process excellence,

- Energy savings initiatives,

- Improvement and expansion Projects.

- Indigenization/ alternate sourcing of services / spares.

- Life expectancy assurance

7. Energy, Quality, Health, Safety, Environment Management Systems ,Regulatory Compliance

Team Development :

- Work for & ensure adherence to requirement of certifications, audits and implementation of audit points for various Management systems e.g. EnMS ISO 50001 (MR office), QMS -ISO 9000, EMS-ISO 14000 etc.

- Adherence to factories act / electricity rules, energy conservation act, pollution control rules etc.

- Monitor and control Regulatory requirements.

- Reduction in Energy / water consumption & Carbon footprints

8. Team Development & HR initiatives:

- Improve team capabilities to undertake additional & special job

- Drive the team development initiative in alignment with Job requirement.

- Develop functional and behavioral skills of sub-ordinates. design training needs and growth plans for eligible subordinates.

- Special skills development for team members

- Team performance review & implementation of various HR related initiative

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

- B. Tech Mechanical / Electrical

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

- Relevant overall Experience 15-20 years of handling of multi-disciplinary utilities

- Total 15-18 years on utilities projects and Operations & maintenance

- Must have handled WTP & STP for 5 years minimum

- Maintenance of special vehicles like Crash Fire Tender etc.
