The candidate should have the understanding, ability to build team to manage the following.
Responsibilities
- Work with management to define product line goals
- Drive product and integration roadmap, including market segmentation, sizing, market and competitive analysis, technology trends to achieve product line goals
- Manage product requirement definition and feature identification for present and future initiatives, including documentation.
- Engage and drive development, QA and support teams to realize the business goals
- Measure and Analyze success of product and features.
Requirements
Work Skills:
- Key interest in digital space both internet and mobile. Experience of having ideated, conceptualized and built a consumer facing online destination. Min 10 years- experience in Internet & mobile product
- Understanding of the UI, design, and basic web development tools.
- Understanding and executing experience of Web payment mechanisms and tools.
- Ability to co-ordinate with operational and technology team (in house as well as outsourced) to build and automate operational modules like cash management, logistic module, inventory management application, CRM.
- Updated of the latest introductions and innovation in the digital space to improve the user experience
Site Hygiene:
- Complete understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Search Engine optimization (SEO) and ensuring an SMO and SEO smart site.
- Ability to track consumer usage and constantly monitor the traffic activity with an eye to improve the consumer browsing/transaction experience.
Online Marketing:
- Understanding of SEM, ability to monitor the SEM campaigns and constantly improve the ROI on SEM campaigns.
- Understanding of the display ad mechanism, leading traffic to drive transaction and constantly monitoring the traffic funnel to improve the ROI.
- Understanding of the social media, viral tools/ apps to implement on the ecommerce site.
MIS/Consumer behavior/Analytics:
- Conceptualize and build/integrate automated traffic behavior intelligence module, Analytical tools to assist and improve the sourcing, operational and management efficiency
- Constant insights to enable the team to build future roadmap of the business.
Soft Skills:
- Strong learning attitude, leadership capability and team person
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- Past experience of scaling E-commerce operations desirable.
