Job Description - As Head of Ongoing Monitoring, you will be leading the first line of defence (1LOD) operations department responsible for transaction monitoring, screening and manual reviews of SME customers' ('Members') activity for financial crime prevention. The activity of your teams will range from managing dispute processes, reviewing & clearing alerts and submitting SARs.

As a Head of Ongoing Monitoring

- Leading a globally distributed growing team of approximately 120 analysts, team leads and managers.

- Work with the Product and Data teams to constantly improve and evolve our systems,

- Deliver the highest level of service to our members, whilst balancing this with managing financial crime risk inclusive of both member-focused and financial crime related SLAs.

- Work with cross functional partners to ensure delivery standards

- Evaluating and constantly improving processes, and helping Tide meet rigorous financial crime standards.

- Work closely with Talent and People partners and trainers to ensure we continue to recruit and upskill the very best analysts.

Profile

What makes you a great fit:

- Previous experience in a similar role

- Proven team leadership and management experience that can scale teams across multiple countries.

- Experience in UK business banking in an FCA-regulated environment.

- Passionate about fighting financial crime with great understanding of financial crime risks.

- Able to problem-solving and finding solutions to difficult situations

- Highly data driven, comfortable setting goals and KPIs, forecasting and planning.
