Head - New Product Innovation - General Insurance - IIT/IIM

We are looking for Head General Insurance Product Innovation for our Indian BFSI Client in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities :

1. Lead innovation vertical

2. Innovate new process and products

3. Lay down culture of Innovation in the company through Kaizen

4. Challenge the status quo and look for new generation technological interventions

5. Facilitate the selling of new ideas to vertical heads

6. Generate Idea - through competition analysis, other industry experiences, observing macro trends & other markets, innovation council.

7. Ability incubate & develop idea

8. Set up and run a cross functional Innovation Council

9. Ensure business sponsorship (competition analysis, impact assessment including CBA, prioritization, identifying tools or structures to succeed) for new Ideas

Handover ideas to function / project team for execution (eg. (i) Business Analysts to make BRD, (ii) BRD approval by function, (iii) IT to conduct vendor evaluation and develop, (iv) Business Analysts & function to conduct UAT, (v) Production OR getting a product / process / org design come alive)
