WHO ARE YOU?
An individual with a strong conviction that Indian businesses are grossly underestimated on a global scale and that we have the capability to outperform the strongest of economies on their turf.
You would have:
- Spent 10-15 years interacting with CXO/founders/owners/partners and equivalent decision-makers
- A network or be within 1 circle of connection with the above-mentioned target audience
- Be familiar with or be a part of various target audience ecosystems such as:
- Industry bodies catering to the interests of entrepreneurs/owners/CXO etc.,
- Peer-to-peer business communities that help founders/CXOs/owners/partners share knowledge
- Media houses that create emerging-business-specific events/talks/webinars
- An understanding of the daily challenges faced by the target audience when trying to grow their business and the support systems they lean on to find solutions
- An innate ability to lead from the front and be extremely hands-on
- Built teams ground up and been a key contributor to a growing environment
- High passion, solution-oriented and attention to detail
- A knack for understanding business conditions/entrepreneur's ambitions based on publicly available or acquired data ex: Balance sheet, P&L, MIS, etc.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU?
Converting genuine future Fortune 500 companies into clients, thereby meeting the booking target which will be decided by the executive committee at the beginning of the year.
- Networking and relationship building
- Develop and manage relationships with decision-makers from the target organizations
- Develop relationships with influencers and existing advocates (we have a large pool of very vocal and influential advocates) who can connect us to the target organizations
- Understanding business needs and deriving revenue goals
- Discern market trends and craft go-to-market sales strategies to maximize revenue potential from prospective customers.
- Executing the sales strategy
- Ensuring that the profile of clients is as per the target audience set by the organization
- Maintaining a high volume of prospects in the funnel at all times
- Ownership of developing and ensuring execution of long-term and short-term business plans.
- Converting leads to clients
- Generate quality conversations from the target organizations.
- Work closely with the marketing function to ensure that the leads generated by their efforts are moved toward closure
- Plan, prepare and manage pitch documents, develop proposals and commercial submissions that address the specific needs of each interested prospect, responding to a brief or a formal RFP. This could be from existing or new clients.
- Complete the negotiating and contracting process for each successful closure and the requisite documentation for each.
- Liaison with the delivery team
- Work closely with the delivery team to develop proposals
- Ensure seamless handover of the engagement and client to the delivery team
- Understand the product and offering to better position the product to prospects
- Provide market feedback to the delivery team to help improve the offerings.
- Reporting
- Conduct a weekly review with the EXECOM or CEO on the inflow of business and forecast, and progress of the entire funnel from identified prospects to pending contracts.
The target for the year will be divided into three parts:
- The number of conversations we have
- The number of proposals sent
- The volume of project closed - ticket size.
