Head - New Business - Non-Ferrous Scrap

One of our prestigious client is looking for Head - New Business non-ferrous scrap. To research, develop and execute a successful business model for the company, building on its existing brand, operating network and leveraging off the support provided by its two principal shareholders. This will be a - hands on- role where your ability to understand the history, current position and existing strengths of the business in order to augment that position are critical.

Principal Account-abilities:

1. Responsible for the achievement of marketing and communication goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems, including benchmarks, are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the board of the company and other stakeholders.

2. Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing and communications program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.

3. Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision and identity of the company.

4. Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance the company's image and position within the marketplace, and facilitate internal and external communications.

5. Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resourcing of materials and products to assist sales staff in the marketing and positioning of the company.

6. Maintain regular customer contact as required, by face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and e-mail in order to maintain a sound business and personal relationship, to ensure understanding of customer requirements and to maintain good customer perceptions of the company.

7. Using a structured and analytical approach, achieve a planned and organised programme of customer contact for the purpose of maintaining current accounts and developing new business.
