KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Own the Solutions Portfolio which includes Network Solutions, Managed Network Services Platform, System Integration. Analyze business requirements, build solutions & capabilities, develop technical network solutions and their framework to meet business needs.

- Bid Management: Lead and Manage the Solutions Team towards Tender scans and to Participate competetively in RFP/RFI's. Provide compliant and optimal cost Solutions and ensure timely bid submissions.

- Project Execution & Management: Develop test plans, implementation plans and project timelines for various projects. Manage technology vendors. Create standards documentation, Reference architecture designs, technical service/solution descriptions and integration & deployment guides. Build Teams and execute New Projects as per Work Orders, Manage Project teams to ensure smooth Project execution, Management and Operations. Ensure follow up on Billings and Collections on the Projects Services.

- Business Development: Tender scans, Scout for New SI Business both Government as well as Private enterprise as per Company Business Policy and targets. Contribute to development and integration of new projects and services.

- Conduct proof of concept testing, TCO analysis and advice organisation and Inititate actions to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, issues and new Business Cases

- Manage and oversee the basic internal IT operations.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- 8-15 years experience in the field of information & Communication Technology with strong emphasis on Network Design & implementation for Enterprise Business requirements, Solution Architecting, Managed Network Services, SI Projects with basic storage and security technologies.

- Strong experience of Network and associated technologies including working knowledge of principles in the following areas: Enterprise Network design & deployment, Public/private/hybrid cloud, SDN. Hands On experience on Design and Deployment of Enterprise Network implementations alongwith Network Operations & Management is mandatory.

- Relevant Experience in reaching out to the market to bring in New SI Business.

- Adept at creating Solution documents to accurately meet customer requirements

- Tender scans and Bidding - Candidate must have specific experience in scanning for tenders relevant to the core business and then preparing the solution document by integrating various technologies across a wide and mixed vendor base.

- Dealt with and having good knowledge of Project Management principles.

- PMP/Agile/Prince Certification is desirable.

- Hands-on experience of managing application layer solutions from Cisco, Juniper, F5, Citrix, Microsoft, Brocade, Radware etc.

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

- Good knowledge of networking protocols including IP/Ethernet, BGP, MPLS, DNS, SSL, IPSec. Good understanding of Infrastructure Architecture and Operations in a virtualized environment leveraging a mixed environment of blades, rack-mounts, and disparate storage infrastructures

- Aptitude and proven record of having approached the market to generate SI Business and Projects.

- Deep understanding and proven experience in execution and O&M of SI projects.

- Knowledge and application of of Project Management priciples, Network Design, Development, Testing and Deployment Project Management techniques. Principles, best Practices and tools for managing requirements, processes and Projects, Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

- Ability to quicky and correctly grasp customer requirements, Produce viable Solutioning, Documents Troubleshooting and analytical skills with capacity to accurately identify and assess problems before providing accurate solutions.

- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with relevant feedback to the Management/ reporting chain. Ability to remain productive within time-sensitive and fast-paced environment.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION:

- BE/BTech degree in Telecommunications or related discipline

- Technical certifications in Networking. CCNA/CCNP/CCNE is desirable

- PMP/Agile/Prince certification will be a plus
