Job Title Head - MIS
Reports to Director - Knowledge Services
Job Purpose
To build the Centre of Excellence model for management information to enable operational performance and control
Job Dimensions

Principle Accountabilities
Delivery:
- Implement standardised reporting models across the organisation
- Develop and share insights through trend analysis
- Deliver the MI projects from conceptualization to insights for the operating companies across the group
- Use business acumen to be able to analyse, drive insights and create meaningful reports using large datasets
- Develop an understanding of business operations across group companies
- Run and maintain the operational MIS reviews
- Deliver insights and suggestions for continuous improvement on the basis of MI reviews
- Conceptualize the organisation operations metrics and KPI's aligned with operations objectives
- Develop dashboards to execute the organizational MIS
- Build the infrastructure tools and organization structure to deliver the Organisational MIS
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage the global stakeholders on an ongoing basis while delivering on the requirements
- Work with business/operations team to define the operational MIS and KPI's
People Management :
- Build, develop and retain capabilities within the team to achieve the stated goals
- Create processes around effective knowledge management within the team to ensure a culture of continuous learning and self-development.
Person Specifications
Education
Essential: B. Tech/ BE
Required:
Experience Essential: Experience on building a CoE model for the Organisation MIS
Required:
Knowledge Essential:
Required: Preferable - Insurance/ Financial Services
Technical Skills & Abilities Essential: Understanding of Data Warehousing Tools, expert in Tableau and MS Excel, MS Access, SQL
Required:
Others Essential:
Required: Experience of working in Global/ Cross-cultural teams will be preferred
