Role : Will lead MIS function. Also support 5 business verticals (Consumer Lighting, Commercial Lighting, Office Furniture, Switches and Yardley)

Location: Bangalore

Reporting: CFO; will have team of 8 reporting under him

Technical specifications:

- CA with experience with a manufacturing industry background, preferably from FMCG / Consumer Goods Industry

- Working knowledge of SAP and ability to go deeper into configuration, if required

- Excellent in MS Office, particularly Excel & PPT

- Good Communication and presentation skills

- Ability to multi-task and good analytical skills

- Solid business & commercial acumen

- Tenacity of purpose

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Objectives

1. Assist in the Preparation of the Long Term Strategic Business Plan

- Formulate a long term business plan along with the Head of Business Strategy and the Heads of the Business Units, translate multi-year strategic plans into Annual Operational plans and drive execution

2. Perform ongoing strategy evaluation and analysis

- Monitor targets, trend analysis and key financial metrics to track progress

Operational Objectives

1. Drive financial planning & performance management

- Evaluate performance against objectives and drive organization excellence

- Analyze financial performance

- Strengthen the process to improve forecasting accuracy

2. Develop scenario plans to address performance uncertainties

- Perform scenario and contingency planning

3. Develop good understanding of the business

- Understand the strategy

- Understand the external business drivers

- Understand internal value drivers

- Knowledge of other business functions

- To be able to understand the impact of various developments in the environment, changes in technology, changes in regulation on the Company's business

4. To develop strong management information systems

- Review and strengthen the Management Reporting systems

- Deliver timely, value-added management reports

- Perform ad-hoc analysis to provide timely insights for management interventions

5. Benchmark for continuous improvement by evaluating internal and external benchmarks / best practices. Gain thorough understanding of industry and competition

- Monitor and assess trend data to gain competitive advantage

- Conduct post-completion analysis on Sales & Promotion (S&P) initiatives

- Maintain solid business partnerships throughout the organization

- Identify value creation opportunities and drive business results

6. Execute best-in-class cost management decision making, monitoring, and reporting activities

- Support decision making around cost and spend improvements

- Monitor, analyze, and communicate cost performance

7. Business partner and communicator

- Have in-depth understanding of key drivers for fixed and working capital efficiency metrics

- Act as steward and educator to the business regarding guidelines and effective practices of uses of capital

- Align with business leaders for optimal and efficient use of capital to support the operation and achieve growth objectives

- Consistently monitor and recommend improvements toward working capital operations
