Position Title: Head-Mine Planning

Location - Kolkata

Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Mining Engineering)/ M. Sc./M.Tech-Geology

Experience - Min 18 years' experience in mine Planning and Operations & deep understanding of various mining methods.

Job Description:

- Ensure Short-to-medium term Mine Planning in a high volume selective mining environment maintenance and future improvement of the current planning systems by identifying and proposing solutions influencing the main performance drivers.

- To oversee planning & evaluation of new and existing MDO as well as commercial coal projects for acquisition of new business opportunities and provide technical support to existing commercial as well as MDO projects.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Evaluate Coal MDO Opportunities

- Identify potential blocks put up for bidding

- Technical, economic and contract management analysis for business opportunity on sustained basis.

- Provide technical inputs with process optimization for competitive advantage.

2. Acquisition of future Commercial Coal Blocks

- Geological assessment of commercial coal blocks

- Liaising with concerned government functionaries for input data consolidation.

- Study on existing infrastructure in and around blocks

- Technical, Economic and sustainability analysis

3. Provide Mine Planning Support to existing commercial blocks

- Geological and Mine modelling

- Infrastructure Planning

- Financial Evaluation

- Evacuation Analysis

- HEMM analysis

- Analysis on value addition of product

- Land Acquisition

4. Technical assistance in Preparation of statutory/financial reports of running projects

- Preparation of Mining Plan/ Revised Mining Plan

- Preparation of TOR/EIA EMP/WLMP

- Detailed Project Report

- R&R Scheme

- Hydrology/Hydrogeology

- Railway infrastructure
