Head - Mergers & Acquisitions - IT

As a business leader, the role will be accountable for end-to-end life cycle of inorganic initiatives that complements our organic investments, aids in accelerated realization and creates superior valueto our clients.

Will be responsible for overall planning, setting up of the function, building a team of dedicated

and shared members, evaluating and partnering with the right consulting firms to execute on the strategy in a well thought out, yet time-bound manner. Will be required to collaborate closely with various functions such hasservice lines, finance, legal, sales, HR and others to ensure right success KPI definition, due-diligence, financial prudence, integration, governance to ensure realization of stated value

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand overall vision, work with the strategy office to shape the inorganic initiatives agenda

- Identifying and establishing synergistic partnerships with right providers

- Develop a plan, define success metrics, evaluate opportunities & drive execution

- Collaborate closely with with various stakeholders during the program life-cycle

- Understand, map needs of internal and external stakeholders and engage for outcomes

- Participate and present in periodic governance meeting with Strategy office & Exec leadership

- Define and publish periodic MIS in alignment with agreed metrics

- Nurture and mature inorganic growth as a capable, relevant and impactful practice

Skills & Competencies:

- 18+ years total experience with at least 2+ years in leading acquisition programs

- Entrepreneurial mind-set with an ability to execute well and with speed

- Experience in working with consulting firms, investment bankers, startup ecosystem

- Exposure to relevant domains of finance, legal, HR etc. necessary for acquisition initiatives

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills

- Experience in the IT services or Tech industry serving Banking, Financial Services, Mfg domain
