Head Mergers & Acquisition :


- Conduct detailed market study and competition benchmarking; analyze and develop a deep understanding of industry trends, customer segments, and competitive landscape

- Involved in rendering deal advisory support to corporates related to joint ventures, acquisitions, fund raising, buy outs etc.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute M&A strategy discussions and project plans

- Provide big picture perspective to ensure alignment of actions with Company's vision

- Actively shape the future portfolio options for company considering global and local consumer trends

- Prepare mid/long-term strategic business plan in close consultation with top management

- Contribute actively in formulating business decisions through rigorous fact finding and analysis

- Lead complex cross-functional projects and drive for results and tangible outcomes quickly

- Continuously identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement; evaluate the opportunity, formulate business case, conduct scenario analysis (as applicable) and present to top management to facilitate decision making

- Conceptualize, drive, facilitate and coordinate key strategic projects such as Digital Transformation, Profitability Improvement, Product Portfolio, etc.; facilitate periodic reviews and ensure timely execution

- Evaluate M&A opportunities for attractiveness and fit; conduct diligence process, as and when required

- Work closely with external agencies such as consulting firms, investment banks, etc.

Qualification And Experience :

i. CA or MBA (Finance) with 8-12 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisition & experience in IT Space or fast-paced startups will be a plus & Having Exposure to US Market.

ii. Strong business Acumen: The ability to understand the parts of the business and their interrelationships. This includes skill in understanding the industry, competition, and expected future developments and challenges, the business's competitive strengths and weaknesses, opportunities to grow the business, and awareness of the environment for opportunities.

iii. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to extract insights from data and simplify complex problems

iv. Superior research skills and resourcefulness to draw logical conclusions with often limited/ imperfect Information

v. Experience in performing market sizing and scanning, benchmarking, company profiles, sector research

vi. Knowledge of available databases across the industries and experience of working on these databases
