Role Purpose: To ensure that the organization develops a - strong voice- for children nationally, through inspiring, informing and dignified narratives that feed media, programme communication, internal and external communications. Role &amp; responsibilities: - Lead &amp; supervise in implementing the media strategy, strong narratives, documentation &amp; internal communications through inspiring media advocacy, storytelling and activating all staff with rich, up to date content. - Lead, develop &amp; engage with media practitioners critical to plans defined as per the organisation strategy. - Device tactics and supervise the team on media for building an engaged network, stronger relationships, thought leadership on child rights agenda, and support with press releases, articles, and other communication material for media as per organizational requirements. - Support team &amp; help finalise drafts, key message of articles/op-eds to go out through external stakeholders from government, corporates, community, children etc. on need basis. - Lead &amp; prepare media plans, key messages and reports for important events related to advocacy, campaigns, programmes, celebrity engagement and fundraising. - Lead the arrangement of press conferences, news briefings, media interviews, visits and public events, including in the Hubs and alignment of hubs on national agenda. - Review written content for the organization and its representatives on a regular basis. Develop well-researched and sharp briefing documents for organizational representatives at significant public forums. - Ensure and support the creation of strong narratives, to feed campaign, grant, advocacy, media, internal and external communications agenda. - Supervise team to develop original content basis the brand, campaign and Big Ideas needs; and use the information from grants, advocacy, campaign and hubs to collate content and enrich it. - Supervise and develop engaging communication collateral for employees and critical organizational stakeholders, including an annual report, newsletters, films, videos, audio-visuals and presentations. Experience:&nbsp;At least 15-18 years of media work, either as a journalist or while working in the media/PR department of a reputed organization. Qualifications :&nbsp;A degree/diploma in Communication or Media, or equal relevance, from a recognised University or College.
