Title: Head of Media and Content

Reporting to the Company Director, the Director of Media & Content will be responsible for overall operations of the company and building a strong client base for the company to deliver existing projects and create new opportunities and revenue streams for the company. The job would require traveling locally, meeting and building those relationships on a regular basis and leveraging networks to create opportunities bringing together advertisers and TV networks.

- Build relationships with TV Channels and providing consulting on programming to enable content sales

- Negotiating content sales with producers & content suppliers to managing the procurement/sales process

- Media & Content Planning for TV Channels and Structuring of TV shows to sell to advertisers

- Packaging Content for advertisers and negotiating & developing advertising contracts

- Building relationships with advertising agencies, TV networks and advertisers

- Implementing of marketing plans developed for advertisers & TV channels and ensuring smooth operations

- Creating digital & mobile marketing proposals and developing up this business vertical for the company

- Building and hiring local Myanmar talent to deliver business

- Managing day to day operations of the company and ensuring compliance of processes

Responsibilities

- Determine the best media outlet mix for promotional strategies

- Monitor online and offline ad campaigns (e.g. on radio, TV, websites, magazines and billboards)

- Regularly report advertising campaign results (including revenues and costs)

- Optimize advertising strategies for varying audiences and channels

- Design and review advertising budgets for clients

- Negotiate with media channels to close competitive deals

- Prepare additional promotional projects to support new product launches

- Create new campaigns to reach a broader audience

- Ensure a cohesive advertising message across campaigns

- Build long-term relationships with media influencers to promote our brand

Requirements

- Proven work experience as a Media Director, Media Planner or similar role with Business Development

Experience

- Knowledge of different types of media channels

- Demonstrable experience with building effective advertising campaigns

- Familiarity with digital marketing

- Working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. GfK MRI, Moat and Nielsen IMS)

- Experience with budget planning and KPIs

- Ability to manage and combine data

- Strong decision-making skills

- Excellent communication skills

MBA/Post Graduate - Marketing, Business Administration or similar field
