Client : Tier 1 suppliers of Automotive components

Location : Tamilnadu

Qualification : Should be an engineer through the regular stream – electrical or mechanical.

CTC : As per industry standard

Experience : 20 - 27 years

Experience:

- Should have been heading the sourcing activities in any auto component manufacturing company, which is into mass production.

- Experience in commodity purchase, vendor identification and development, sub – contracting, component procurement.

- Should have managed a spend of not less than 200 crores in a year.

- Experience in servicing multi - location manufacturing facilities would be an advantage.

Core Responsibilities:

- Define and implement procurement strategy, in coordination with manufacturing

- Planning, management, control and optimisation of inventory

- Effective and safe storage raw materials, components and finished products

- Liaise with client Global to leverage global buying power

- Review annual contracts and set procurement savings targets

- Monitor market prices and implement plans to hedge

- Review and eliminate single sourcing wherever possible, manage procurement risk

- Support the make vs buy decision
