The purpose of this role is to conceive and conceptualize the overall Marketing strategy of the organization with a view to strengthen market positioning, promote the corporate brand in line with the overall brand image of the company and facilitate sales department in carrying out various customer acquisition and retention initiatives. The role is responsible for implementing and driving the strategy on a pan-India scale.
- Participate as an integral member in the strategic planning process of the company and provide support and inputs for creating, nurturing and promoting the brand value for the telecom company.
- Plan and formulate a cost efficient budget for the Marketing function
- Lead the development of overall marketing strategy to ensure saliency of brand and to support the bottom-line through appropriate product / price management programs.
- Support the sales function for forecasting the sales numbers by providing appropriate marketing intelligence inputs.
- Identify the set of customers for the marketing function and establish the guidelines to effectively manage relationships with them.
- Compile the list of marketing effectiveness indices for the function in line with the business strategy of the organization and periodically assess the performance on such indices vis a vis the targeted levels.
- Perform the role of a people manager for the department.
