Title: Head of Marketing

Responsibility: Drive traffic and conversion on the portal

Requirements:

- Proven ability to grow traffic non-linearly using online marketing techniques such as SEO, SEM, Social Media, Affiliate Programs and Display Ads, without relying on traditional media (print, radio, TV)

- In depth understanding of the leading Web Search Engines and techniques to increase the Page Rank

- Experience in Media Planning & Buying for online marketing channels and work with constraint marketing budgets

- Understanding of how to successfully run viral marketing programs

- Prior experience in striking alliances with Internet Media companies such as Google, Yahoo, Facebook etc and leveraging the blogosphere to drive traffic to the portal

- A good understanding of how to drive conversion rates and repeat usage

- Experience with web analytics and measurement tools –

- Excellent quantitative (esp statistics) and analytical skills

- Influence the product roadmap to achieve traffic and conversion targets – ability to effectively interact with the engineering team

- Prior experience in an Internet company – good understanding of Internet and Technology
