Job Location : Delhi /Mumbai
Experience : 10 years experience with 3P Manufacturing industry .
Role Purpose :
As the Head of Marketing and Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business growth for the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and sales initiatives to enhance the company's market presence and improve the revenue growth.Your role will be a blend of strategic planning, relationship building and creative thinking.
You will lead a team of young and enthusiastic professionals.
Role & Responsibilities:
Strategy and its implementation:
- Crafting & executing Marketing, Sales & Business Development strategies to support the company's overall strategies and objectives.
- Plan and organize marketing and sales functions and operations (product development, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company's unique "voice".
- Develop a business development strategy / plan for the department and ensure its implementation.
Client Relationship Management and Revenue generation:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.
- Create a solid network of strategic partnerships - identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
- Understand clients' needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions and build long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with clients to align their requirements with our product offerings and capabilities.
Product Knowledge and Solution Selling:
- Maintain an understanding of FMCG products from a manufacturing, processes, and value proposition perspective.
- Position our solutions as the best fit for clients' specific needs, emphasizing value and ROI.
- Able to understand basic level cost working of the products offered.
New initiatives - Expansion and Networking:
- Focus and build new business avenues (Example: Cosmetics segment, New-age companies with D2C focus)
- Identify and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand our network and stay updated on industry trends.
- "Listen" to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of marketing and sales plans.
- Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets organisation objectives.
- Collaborate with R&D team to develop and launch new products/services based on market demands and client feedback.
Team building / development:
- Build a highly efficient and delivery-oriented team of Marketing & Sales professionals to further the company's growth.
Qualification & Skills
- MBA Sales &Marketing
- 12 to 15 yrs experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience within the 3P manufacturing industry.
- 5+ years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong leadership and business development skills
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for aspects across Marketing, Sales, and Business Development (Client Relationship, etc.)
- Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
- Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM)
- A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
