L&T SuFin is a B2B Ecommerce Platform which will leverage L&T's deep knowledge and capabilities in Procurement (through its huge volume of annual procurement) and Logistics, Financing, and IT solutions. This platform is essentially a digital marketplace for SME buyers and sellers (mainly focused on construction and industrial products & services) to connect in an efficient manner, thereby enabling sellers to expand their sales reach, and for buyers to find required products and services at optimal cost and quality.
L&T Sufin is looking for an experienced Lead Marketing who can 'hit the ground running' as the executive responsible for all aspects of the company's marketing including - brand building and awareness, and implementing all the marketing strategies online (customer acquisition, partnerships) and offline (events, PR and partnerships).
Key Responsibilities:-
- Increase Customer Acquisition
- End to end responsibility for Organizations Branding & Marketing
- Responsible for SEO & SEM
- Custodian for offline marking & branding.
- Responsible for content creation and branding on and off website
- Custodian of Marketing budget & Marketing Analytics
- Improvement of the company's marketing plan
- Overseeing market research and analysis of the competition
- Supervising the management and research teams on product development
- Overseeing the CRM process.
- Aligning offline and online medium to effectively support and enhance sales teams' efforts including industry association team and focus on creating awareness to converting to sales
- Agency selection and management.
- Coordination with Central Branding team of L&T.
- Handling public relations and corporate communications
- Developing new and enhancing existing business relationships
- Providing leadership in the design and production of all aspects of visual marketing needs.
Job Purpose:
- Develop marketing plan and drive business development. Initiate strategic partnerships with local platforms and distributors. Oversee online/offline tactical marketing/sales and brand-building campaigns. Drive business by building and expanding user base and activity.
- Explore and build new business opportunities. But more importantly we need someone who is a self-motivated individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Vision: Devise a comprehensive Vision, roadmap, and marketing plan for all sides of the business, and continuously work to ensure it is implemented.
- Work with other members of executive leadership team to ensure all plans are properly executed across departments.
- Brand Building: Create from the ground up a unique brand that reflects the B2B elements, with responsibility for overseeing all elements of imagery, messaging, and associated marketing collateral related to it. Responsibility for overall PR, Events, and other communications strategies.
- Utilize understanding of consumer insights and worldwide trends to identify key issues and opportunities for profitable brand growth.
- Identify and prioritize brand-building opportunities by utilizing data-driven insights (e.g., Nielsen, internal cross-functional reports, buyers/sellers/financial institutions/logistic vendors research reports, competitive analysis, etc.).
Key Competencies:
- Relevant experience working in a leadership level in Offline marketing in a fast-paced environment, startup and eCommerce experience is ideal.
- Skilled at forming new partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial, creative, resourceful and goal oriented.
- Communication and marketing management skills.
- Critical thinking ability for high level planning, analyzing and problem solving.
- Thrive within an entrepreneurial culture.
- Prior hands-on experience in SEM/ SEO/ PPC/ Affiliate marketing/ viral marketing/ guerrilla marketing/ social media marketing/ display/ offline marketing/ google analytics/ marketing analytics - SAS etc in e-commerce setups.
- History of building a successful and recognized brand, and proven experience building a renowned marketing function.
- Track record of developing comprehensive and highly successful marketing and business development strategies.
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
- Ensuring the successful day to day management of the team
- Responsible for overseeing the entire marketing effort across all media
- Resource allocation and management, tracking and reporting, implementing standards and processes across team.
- Always looking at ways to improve project management processes and practices
- Scoping new projects/campaigns
- Ensure projects are managed and delivered on time, scope and budget
- Effective performance management methods
- Excellent project manager
- Strategic planning and organizational skills with a hands-on execution style
