We are seeking to Identify Head Marketing - Industrial products leading multinational company.
Location - Bangalore.
Role :
- Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues that must be addressed; providing information relevant to discussions; recommending options and courses of actions along with implementing directives.
- Obtains market share by developing marketing plans and programs for each product; directing promotional support.
- Translating business unit objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business unit growth.
- New product feasibilities including Competition Price review, Competition product review, and marketing activity.
- Develops marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment, policy, nature of market, copyright and royalty requirements, and cost and markup factors.
- Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer- relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
- Employ the principles of Category Management with regard to range assortment, channel specific ranges, promotions, pricing, display / merchandise / POS, replenishment and effective sales drivers in order to grow in the market place
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Manage Marketing services Review and allocate A & P spend for the various brands, facilitate planning of activities for the brand teams, review initiatives and provide inputs for revising activities.
Interact with agencies, provide inputs, sign off on final brief, review iterations and evolve final plan, supervise and guide teams and sign off on estimates.
Provide direction and inputs for briefs to Product Managers in line with Marketing strategy, review periodically to fine tune/course correct. Participate in negotiation with Major Channels, as requested by the Sales Team.Validate cross promotions design fits with brand
- Build and develop a marketing team which is competent, commercially astute,dedicated and efficient.
- Maintains marketing staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Manage Brands - Study consumer and market trends and formulate brand strategy by outlining the role of brand in portfolio and the architecture for the brand. Facilitating the articulation of brand seed.
- Lead discussion across stakeholders to evaluate margin improvement ideas for brands, arrive at brand trade offs for keeping A& P within limits.
- Monitor competition in markets and propose strategic directions to combat and gain market share.
