Position: Head Marketing
Reporting to: Business Head
Base location: Mumbai
Preferred industry: FMCG
Education: B school only
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The company requires a highly energetic Marketing leader who will be a key part of the management team and would have end-to-end responsibility for the marketing function.
The primary objective would be to create and build a strong brand presence in the FMCG space:
- Would be responsible for building brands and business in the consumer product industry, across the category of personal care products.
- Responsible for Brand strategy, Positioning, Insight, Innovation and Communication along with growing the market share and profitability.
- Conceive, Design and launch innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand equity.
- Leverage consumer insight to create Innovation, Brand development activities, Digital Marketing and social media.
- Use market research, competitive analysis, customer insight and business planning to roll out a communication strategy that forms the foundation of the company- s brand-identity and marketplace success.
- Create Brand guidelines, framework and ensure compliance
- Marketing Management with special skills on product propositions, creative development, advertising agency management, marketing budgets planning & monitoring, event management and 360 degree market activation.
- Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures, policy and employment law.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High levels of energy with a demonstrated ability to build a consumer brand from grounds-up while operating within limited budgets by using an innovative mix of BTL, PR, ATL, digital media and leveraging alliances.
- 8-10 years of overall experience with atleast 2-3 years of handling complete branding and marketing cycle for a consumer product.
- Management Degree from tier-I institute with an exceptional growth trajectory in the career.
