Head - Marketing (High End Fashion)

- Develops market strategies to gain market share and achieve top and bottom line targets for the brand.

- Designs effective and innovative integrated marketing campaigns across mediums like Digital and Print.

- Initiates research for concept testing, post launch, creative recall and product efficacy dipsticks for insight mining to develop consumer segment specific initiatives.

- Develops a marketing strategy for brand awareness to increase commercial results and engage audience and clients on a variety of platforms.

- Plans and execute elements of internal and external marketing strategy.

- Implements lasting processes to strengthen the department.

- Supports new business opportunities, at a market and client level.

- Innovative use of social networking channels to generate traffic and brand awareness and to break in to new markets.

- Leverages analysis and insight to develop comprehensive annual communication plans, including setting annual communication objectives and strategies for the business.

- Understands latest developments in communications tools and communicates knowledge.

- Uses skills in project management and negotiation to effectively manage large, complex projects including product/service launches to the teams.

- Evaluates messages and creative against brand strategy to ensure consistency.

- Demonstrates strong skills in critiquing, problem-solving and negotiating to ensure all communication elements fit strategy to create impactful messages and deliver against business objectives.

- Manages multiple communications activities, including technical and/or promotional writing and design, audio and video production and development and management of digital communications channels, including websites, media relations and vendor relationship management.

- Ensures that information in all marketing communications channels, including print, audio/video and social/digital, is accurate and issued on a timely basis.

- Anticipates potential issues that may arise and proactively communicates and develops plans to manage.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets :

1. Post graduate professional qualifications from a reputed institution in marketing management / fashion / lifestyle / communications with 10+ years- of experience in iconic fashion / lifestyle brands. & leading a team assigned to manage sales to key accounts (B2B), branding, marketing communication, PR and strategic planning in the fashion / lifestyle space for virtual / digital as well as brick and mortar market domains.

2. Ability to interface effectively with diverse groups of people, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

3. Strong initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in team atmospheres when handling multiple tasks.

4. Good understanding of the fashion and lifestyle business in the global context.

5. Analytical and out of the box innovative thinking with a strong commercial instinct.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. High level proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.

8. Excellent presentation and report-writing skills are essential.

9. Strong computer skills (especially Excel and email marketing tools).

10. Passion for digital content creation and marketing on social media.
