Responsibilities:
This role is part of the Technology and Digital group with in the bank. The role is an important cog in the transformation of the Digital Channels into Digital Bank.
The Digital Marketing growth typically lives at the intersection of marketing and product, and is focused on customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell based on extensive use of customer data both transactional data as well as customer journey data available thru own channels as well as thru partnerships. The candidate will work cross-functionally with Platform, Product Management, Marketing and Business Intelligence, to provide insights, help to develop & execute strategies for 10x-100x growth.
Responsibility
- The primary role is to spearhead all analytics led digital and performance marketing initiatives leading to demand generation and revenue growth.
- Design and implement a Customer Life Cycle Management (CLCM) program to improve customer service & brand experience, increase product penetration and control attrition.
- Consolidate information into cohesive and insightful analytical reports for use in decision-making. Identify opportunities for improving business processes through detailed and thorough root cause analysis. Driving new opportunities based on customer and business data.
- Learn, understand customer's behavior, needs, insights and problems related to banking products and services. Understand various business lines, goals and problems. Then use available past and current data to come up with reports, trends and insights to identify possible issues/corrections in the technology products, processes and strategy.
- Be the evangelist for usage of data have driven marketing efforts in the changing world. Contribute in implementing best-suited processes and tools and techniques to drive business goals. Introduce cutting-edge techniques of modeling/segmentation/analytics through proactive thinking
- Working with product, technology, digital marketing, and Analytics teams to drive complex data and trend analyses to root cause issues and propose ways to improve platform and tools, thereby contributing to the improved customer experience.
- Regularly providing inputs through analysis, recommendations and insights to key stakeholders for strategic planning
Profile and Skill Sets:
- An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about discovering and solving complicated problems, learning complex systems, working with numbers, and organizing and communicating data, reports and Insights.
- Understands P&L and levers of profitability and hence constantly aim for driving efficiency and profitable consumer acquisition across all marketing channels and initiatives.
- The candidate should be the proficient digital marketer and understands the fundamentals and how various digital channels like GA, Displays, SEMs, Retargeting, Social, Emails, PNs, SEO could be used to drive acquisition and retention.
- Needs to live and breathe data. If required, shouldn't mind getting his/her hands dirty to write SQL codes, analyze consumer cohorts, study conversion funnels and detail out consumer journey to identify next set of opportunities for hyper-growth.
- Displays structured problem solving, application of the right tools & techniques to solve open-ended problems, Creates productized analytics solutions or frameworks independently.
- Is Detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities. Possess very strong analytics skills - ability to start from the unclear problem, identify and access relevant data sources, breakdown or combine data to make a detailed analysis, arrive at trends/insights and draw conclusion relevant to an unclear problem
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel/Presentation, statistical analysis tools/techniques, comfortable with the usage of tools like Google 360, Big query, AI and other reporting/visualization tools. Aptitude for using statistical programming languages will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and as a leader. Mentor and guide young data analysts as well as drive the culture of data based marketing in the Digital Channels. Flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven work environment.
- 10-12 Years of total work experience in data-heavy business domains internet technology companies, product companies or relevant industry where business and data analytics played a major contributor. Knowledge of retail financial services & products is an added advantage.
- Should have played a key role in the hyper-growth in the past organization. Can bring best practices from other industries/ business models and adapt it to the business/marketing needs
