Purpose of the job :
This is a central role in steering Key Account Management & Long Shelf Life with aim to continuously improve share of shelf vs. competitors and to amplify impact of product visibility on customers. This role will also be responsible to manage and strengthen relationships with key accounts and distributors so as to achieve long term and sustainable & profitable growth consistent with overall strategy. To manage the overall sales strategy and policy in the various distribution channels and also represent in top-level discussions.
Qualification:
Post Graduate degree (MBA) in Sales & Marketing.
Experience :
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in Foods / Dairy / Beverages / FMCG organization in the sales function
- Relevant leadership / channel management experience of 2-3 years in managing Modern Trade Sales of size INR 200-400 Crores per annum
Key responsibility :
- Planning and ensuring achievement of sales growth as per budget / forecast across SKUs in Modern Trade and Long-shelf life through channel partners and gain market share in the territory as per company's strategy.
- Understands the business and able to create & execute growth plans through systematic planning & Organizing
- Demonstrates deep understanding of customers, shopper and competitors.
- Making new proposals to the prospective clients and conduct regular business reviews with key clients
- Recruit new staff into team, focusing on strong sales competencies and ensure that they perform well through coaching and monitoring skill
- Build and Manage relationships with key customers at the central, regional and store level
- Execution and planning as per the targets
