Head - Maintenance - FMCG

Responsibility and mandate: (Main responsibilities in terms of budget, personnel, process etc.):

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- The role would be responsible to ensure high machine up time to ensure high delivery adherence to market

- The role would be responsible for management of the plants and machinery assets.

- The role would be responsible for optimisation of energy

- The role would be responsible to bring in newer maintenance techniques and concepts like Autonomous maintenance, early maintenance, quality maintenance.

- The role would be responsible to collaborate with projects in finalising the engineering design compatibility and its management.

- The role would also be taking over the new projects once commissioned from the projects team.

- The role would be responsible for building and driving the efficiency culture and adhere to OPS deliverables

- The role would be responsible to ensure compliance to applicable laws with respect to Factories Act, Pollution Act, Labour Act, Food Safety Act, and any other applicable law in running the plant

- The role would be responsible to develop and coach team to build high performance, self driven team and also ensure workplace discipline meeting the overall efficiency objectives.

- The role would be responsible to adhere to sustainability initiatives at the factory driven by various departments like EHS, HR etc.

Education (Level and area): B.E./B. Tech/ M.E/M.Tech - Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation

Experience (Functional area, type of position/work, products, markets, international etc.):

- 15+ years in a FMCG/Foods Company with minimum 3 yrs in a leadership role.

- Project Management experience.

- Strong functional expertise in the area of Engineering.

- Exposure to Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
