Looking for Head of Logistic for of the retail Client in Gurgaon, Looking for a smart candidate who having the experience in Ecommerce Warehouse end to end operation, Working or Worked any Ecommerce or Omi channel Company

Oversee Warehouse Operations :

- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations, efficient inventory management, and accurate order fulfillment.

- Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and picking processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and on-time delivery.

Logistics Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on warehouse optimization, transportation, and inventory management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan procurement, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology adoption to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.

Team Leadership :

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members, encouraging their professional development and growth.

- Foster effective communication and collaboration between logistics team members, other departments, and external partners.

Vendor Management :

- Evaluate, select, and negotiate contracts with logistics service providers, including freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party warehouses.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements, quality standards, and cost-effective solutions.

Compliance and Risk Management :

- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations related to transportation, warehousing, and trade.

- Mitigate operational risks by implementing robust safety measures, conducting audits, and maintaining proper insurance coverage.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to logistics and warehouse management.
