Engineering background

- Ex Army preferred

- Strong discipline re process and establishing and following standard work

- Strong on routine

- Understands and experienced in how to manage and coordinate activities using low skilled and educated employees

- Hands on management style

- Commercially astute, previous experience in negotiating warehousing lease, 3rd party labour agreements and transport contracts

- Detailed experience in warehousing and transport

- Good with people

- Developer of talent

- Proven track record re developing strong relationships with peers, do not want an individual who succeeds on their own, need a team player.
