Our client is a Leading E commerce player.

THE POSITION:

Head - Logistics

CRITICAL FUNCTION:

- Responsible for end to end strategic & operational planning of logistics for the entire business including Outsourcing (Third party logistics), Inward, Outward & Warehouse management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identifying, negotiating & finalising logistics partners across the country to facilitate timely & accurate product delivery.

- Emphasis on reduction of process and product defects and variation to achieve the project objectives by the application of appropriate frameworks, methods and tools and successful project management

- Ensure that partners understand and accept Customer guidelines and requirements for all logistics operations.

- Partner with key cross-functional stake holders to solicit customer and associate feedback to identify program improvement opportunities for implementation.

- Drive timely and focused projects execution resulting in measurable business improvements in customer satisfaction, efficiency and scalability.

- Responsible for budgeting & financial adherence.

- Works in conjunction with multiple internal stakeholders such as business development, field support and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.

THE PERSON:

- The desired candidate should be masters’ degree educated in business management preferred with a sound Financial & Operational understanding.

- The individual should have more than 10-12 years of experience in a Logistic / Courier companies or managing logistics for larger FMCG / Consumer organizations across India.

- The desired candidate should also have a strong experience in setting up or managing delivery networks, logistics, planning, indent management, & third party logistics management. S/he should demonstrate interest in being hands-on in driving project.
